# Mapbox Token Settings

MAPPY integrates with Mapbox to power map displays, location search, and geocoding features within your store locator. To enable these services, Mapbox requires a valid token linked to your Mapbox account.\

Follow the steps below to create and connect your token to MAPPY, allowing your store locator to function seamlessly.

#### Important Note on Mapbox Costs

Mapbox provides a free monthly usage allowance, which is enough for many small to medium-sized store locator implementations. In most cases, merchants can get started and operate their store locator without incurring any charges.

The free tier currently includes:

* **50,000 map loads per month** for map display
* **500 search sessions per month** for location search

You will only be charged if your usage exceeds these free limits. This allows you to launch your store locator, monitor usage, and evaluate your needs before any additional costs apply.

For many businesses, especially those with moderate website traffic, the free allowance is sufficient to support day-to-day store locator usage.
